First Nations Radio
KSKQ LP 94.9 fm, Ashland, Oregon's low power community radio station, also heard live-streaming online, hosts First Nations Radio each Sunday, 2-4 p.m.. First Nations Radio covers news from Indian Country, discussion of Native issues, interviews, commentary and REALLY awesome Native music--from vibrant Pow Wow songs to the tranquil, mesmerizing Native flute. Producers/D.J.'s are Dan Wahpepah and Jaimie Bernhagen. First Nations Radio is sponsored by Red Earth Descendants and NOWIA (Natives of One Wind Indigenous Alliance).

Seasonal Events
We host four seasonal events a year, corresponding to the seasons during each solstice and equinox.
These are the spring Native games, summer Elder-Youth Conference, fall Native Harvest Gathering, and winter Storytelling.

Red Earth Descendants is a grassroots, indigenous-based organization committed to creating healthy, sustainable community while preserving Native values, traditions and culture. Our core strength is in joining our youth, elders, families and regional tribes together to share knowledge and skills. As we practice healthy community interaction, our goal is to give Native teachings to the next Generations of life.
