Native Harvest Gathering

Red Earth Descendants invites you to our annual Native Harvest Gathering, taking place on October 23. Anyone who would like to step up and help in some way is WELCOMED to do so! We always need more steppin' up! We're designing the Harvest Gathering around the creation of a Harvest Feast to take place on that day, October 23, at 4 p.m.. The Gathering will be hands-on workshop projects to create the meal we'll be serving for the Feast. We're encouraging people to bring things from their own gardens or other community gardens to prepare, cook and serve for the Feast. This is sort of a work-on-site-potluck! It's about working together to create the Feast and learning from each other different ways of using freshly harvested food--whether through cooking, preparing or preserving. The day will culminate with a Harvest Feast at 4 p.m..
