Spring Powwow!
Greetings!
Spring has sprung and we have exciting things happening in the community! See below an email from our friends and relatives at SOU and NASU--please spread the word and we look forward to seeing many of you very soon!
Greetings relatives,
Southern Oregon University’s Native American Student Union (NASU) is hosting our 30th annual powwow on Saturday, April 8th and Sunday, April 9th at Lithia Motors Pavillion (Student Recreation Center) on campus at SOU. Our powwow is one of the largest cultural activities hosted through the university. The powwow attracts SOU students, faculty, staff, and the larger community from across the northwest. More than 1,000 people attend throughout the weekend. It is a gathering of the community where people celebrate, dance, and listen to music together.
We are looking for sponsorship to make this year’s powwow as successful and welcoming as previous years. We are asking for your support and consideration of sponsorship. Any amount will help. Listed below you will find areas of need:
